The position serves as an IT Program Manager in the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) Office of the Pardon Attorney (PARDON) in Washington, D.C. Direct-Hire Authority (DHA) is a hiring authority granted by the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) to address critical hiring needs or severe candidate shortages.
**Qualifications:**
To qualify for the position of Information Technology Program Manager (PLCYPLN & INFOSEC), at GS-2210-15, you must meet the basic qualification requirements listed below. Basic Qualifications (2210 series): Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attention to detail. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. AND Specialized Experience: For the GS-15, you must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-14 grade level or equivalent pay band in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is defined as: 1) Evaluating contractor or vendor proposals for information technology products or services; 2) Applying information technology ideologies or concepts to recommend solutions to problems; AND 3) Monitoring the data flow or systems interactions of automated systems to ensure proper functionality. Quality Ranking Factors are knowledge, skills, and abilities/competencies that could be expected to significantly enhance performance in a position, but are not essential for satisfactory performance. Applicants who possess such KSAs/competencies may be ranked above those who do not, but no one may be rated ineligible solely for failure to possess such KSAs/competencies.
