Job Description
You will serve as a Supervisory Aerospace Engineer in the Structures Division within the F/A-18 & EA-18G Fleet Support Team (FST) at FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.
**Qualifications:**
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Experience providing senior-level expertise of aerospace structures in the fields of in-service engineering, design and development, and life-cycle support. 2. Mastery-level technical knowledge of In-Service Engineering (ISE) processes and products. 3. Expert skill in program management overseeing multi-disciplinary technical teams, to include developing and managing budgets, forecasting resource requirements, and executing complex engineering projects to meet critical Fleet readiness goals and major acquisition milestones. 4. Demonstrated ability to serve as a technical authority, effectively communicating complex engineering and programmatic information to diverse audiences at all levels, from mentoring and guiding engineers to presenting decisive briefings and collaborating on solutions with senior executive leadership and industry partners.
