Electrician Leader

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base Facilities and the Major Range and Test Facilities Base to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of an Electrician Leader without more than normal supervision. Must possess the ability to perform common duties which include passing on directions to several employees in accomplishing trades and labor work associated with electrician work. I can assign the task to be performed for proper electrician procedures, methods or techniques. - Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating. PHYSICAL EFFORT: Work requires the incumbent to stand, stoop, bend, kneel, climb, and work in uncomfortable positions. The incumbent frequently lifts, carries, and sets up tools, equipment, and parts that weigh up to and occasionally 20 pounds. WORKING CONDITIONS: Works inside buildings, shops, and outside. Subject to contact with dirt, dust, and grease; shocks and bums from high voltage; cuts and bruises.
