Job Description
You will serve as a SUPPLY SYSTEM ANALYST in the Strategic Analysis Division (Code 510.2), Compliance and Strategic Analysis Division (Code 510), Supply Department (Code 500) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.
**Qualifications:**
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience providing logistical guidance to supply planning, shipping/receiving and inventory departments within a supply agency or private industry. Experience providing strategic analysis of shipyards data and metrics to improve performance and sustainment within the supply department in areas to include CANNABs/DLRS/Other Productive Work, demand history, LSN management, Long Lead-time Material planning and shop stores Experience making decisions that encompass interpretation, evaluation and recommendations of new concepts, methods and techniques in the supply program. Experience conducting studies to determine whether proposed changes to system applications meet functional user requirements and to translate general policy guidance into detailed operational procedures. Experience solving complex problems in supply operations and management programs with problem analysis and root cause determination techniques.
