Job Description
You will serve as an Integrated Prevention Coordinator in the Family Readiness Division (N9), Fleet and Family Support (FFSP) (N91)of NAVAL STATION.
**Qualifications:**
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: Possesses knowledge of social sciences, integrated primary prevention, applicable policy, and knowledge of and skill in applying prevention methods and techniques in order to evaluate, consult, coordinate, and advise on prevention program activities towards the prevention of destructive or problematic behaviors (i.e. suicide, sexual harassment/assault, substance misuse, family/interpersonal/workplace violence); 2) Demonstrates knowledge of and skill in applying program management methods and techniques, and knowledge of command prevention programs, principles, practices, policies, laws, regulations, and methodologies to coordinate and advise on prevention program activities; 3) Confirms knowledge of and skill in applying professional verbal communication methods and techniques to collaborate with external and internal personnel and leadership at various echelons; to effectively coordinate prevention program activities; and to clearly advise, influence, advocate, and inform on prevention programs; 4) Possesses knowledge of and skill in applying program management processes to identify program needs, trends, and performance; evaluate program effectiveness; and recommend process improvements; and 5) Demonstrates knowledge of data collection and program evaluation and measurement techniques and processes to conduct prevention research.
