Job Description
You will serve as a SAFETY AND OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH SPECIALIST in the ENVIRONMENTAL, SAFETY, AND HEALTH PROGRAM of FWD DEPLOYED REG MAINT CTR DET ROTA Spain.
**Qualifications:**
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Developing, implementing, and managing occupational safety and health programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. 2. Conducting workplace inspections, hazard assessments, and risk analyses to identify and mitigate safety and health risks. 3. Providing technical guidance and training to personnel on safety and health policies, procedures, and best practices. 4. Investigating workplace incidents, accidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions. 5, Preparing reports, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with safety and health documentation requirements. 6. Collaborating with leadership, contractors, and other stakeholders to promote a culture of safety and ensure program effectiveness.
