Job Description
You will serve as a technical liaison between the Additive and Subtractive Manufacturing Branch (621) and Advanced Manufacturing Branch (Code 618) of CARDEROCK DIV NS. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14.
**Qualifications:**
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: supporting mechanical engineering efforts for the design, fabrication, integration, and testing of experimental systems and advanced prototypes; developing and documenting technical methods and processes to support ship and submarine development programs; and partnering with project engineers on fabrication and design requirements including identifying, evaluating and recommending alternative designs.
