***ACCESS TO MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE IN JAPAN IS EXTREMELY LIMITED. Please see Additional Information section below.*** You will serve as a FIRE SAFETY ASSESSMENT SPECIALIST in the Commander Naval Surface Group Western Pacific (CNSGWP)
**Qualifications:**
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1)Conducting assessments and providing technical guidance/training on naval damage control and shipboard firefighting operations; 2) Applying applicable regulations and policies related to shopboard fire prevention, damage control, and safety (i.e. Industrial Ship Safety Manual for Fire Prevention) 3) Executing programs focused on improving fire response capabilities to ensure compliance with ship safety standards; 4) Analyzing shipboard damage control and readiness data for trends to relay findings to senior leadership.
